Bolton Food and Drink Festival

As the North West’s biggest food festival, Bolton showcases and offers a wide range of food and drink to an audience of more than 200,000 day visitors over a four- day period.

During August bank holiday weekend the town is transformed into a foodie heaven, with live chef demo’s from a fantastic line up of celebrity and local chefs; a prestigious gala dinner and over 180 artisan food, drink, arts and crafts stalls. With a great range of events across the town centre including an exciting children’s and music programme the festival has a growing reputation for excellence.

Big Bolton Christmas Lights Switch On

The Christmas lights switch on starts the late night shopping in Bolton Town Centre and is a fantastic live, family event. Promoted at regional level and attended by upwards of 5000 residents, the event includes an opportunity for live promotions and profile on the day, as well as in the lead up to the day. Bolton Winter Festival

The town centre is transformed into a winter festival for five weeks at the end of November each year. We have a huge outdoor ice rink, Santa’s grotto and gifts, giant tipi with chef demos. We have great food and drink and live music, plus artisan markets.

The event continues to attract a growing audience year on year and is recognised on a regional level.
